Explorer Ardea Resources has done a $A5M cash and 2% royalty deal to sell some of its semi-precious chrysoprase tenements and rights in Western Australian to Sydney-based Australian Jade Mining.
The semi-precious gemstone rights span the Yerilla, Jump Up Dam, Aubils and Canegrass areas NE and N of Kalgoorlie.
The Heron Resources’ spin-off says the binding terms sheet will allow it to focus on its cobalt-nickel mine development at the KNP Cobalt Zone, where contained cobalt metal resources were recently lifted to over 83,000t from 59,600t. Ardea will retain rights to all minerals other than semi-precious gemstones within the tenement group.
