Australian explorer Ardea Resources is giving its proposed spin-off company a going away present, announcing an updated JORC inferred resource for its Yeoval porphyry copper-gold deposit of 12.8Mt @ 0.38% for 48,500t Cu, 0.14g/t for 58,000oz Au, 2.2g/t for 911,000oz Ag and 120ppm for 1,500t Mo.
Yeoval is part of the Lachlan Fold Belt, NSW tenement package in the proposed Dec qtr ASX spin-out of Godolphin Resources.
CEO Andrew Penkethman says Yeoval will be a walk-up drill target for Godolphin, with mineralisation open in several directions and a well-funded, locally based exploration team.
