A 655,000oz gold resource upgrade at the Rosemount Gold Project in Western Australia has lifted indicated/inferred JORC resources there to 33.2 Mt at 1.62g/t for 1.73Moz and underpinned the Sept 2013 qtr start up of production expected to ramp up to 80,000oz pa over at least 8 years.
Rosemount is part of Regis Resources’ greater Duketon Gold Project, 350km NNW of Kalgoorlie, which now has Regis attributable JORC resources of 6.97Moz (7.65Moz total), with the recently acquired 2.5Moz resources McPhillamys Gold Project in NSW taking the company’ share to 9.5Moz and gold reserves to 3Moz.
Regis is targeting a maiden 20c-a-share dividend in the Sept 2013 qtr after producing 77,707oz from its Moolart Well and Garden Well operations within the Duketon project in the Dec 2012 qtr, with Moolart contributing 26,145oz, down on the previous qtr’s 27,414 oz, at cash costs including royalties of $A617 and Garden Well’s 51,562oz, cranked up from Sept qtr’s opening 17,127oz at $563oz.
