Great Panther has again suspended use of explosives at its Guanajuato mine complex in Mexico at the request of authorities while it concludes administrative matters arising from the theft of explosives last month. It expects authorisation to resume within days.
Processing at the Cata plant has been halted but is not expected to affect production guidance. The company says it has paid a fine over the original security breach and has taken several steps to safeguard against further theft.
