Mexican silver miner Great Panther Silver has had a good 2013 with production of all that makes up silver equivalent well up on the previous year for AgEq up 19% to a record 2.84Moz from its 2 producing mines in Mexico.
And there is more to come. With its new San Ignacio mine in Mexico expected to start production in the first half of 2014 at 100tpd, ramping up to about 250tpd by year-end and steady production from its main Guanajuato Mine Complex and the Topia Mine, the company expects to lift production by about 10% to 3.1Moz to 3.2Moz AgEq in 2014.
