SUMMIT MINERALS: RARE EARTHS FOCUS AT STALLION PROJECT

 

Kalgoorlie, Sep 14

West Australian battery mineral explorer miner Summit Minerals aims to focus on the identified rare earth element potential of the Stallion uranium project 200km E of Kalgoorlie.
The Stallion project has an inferred JORC-compliant uranium mineral resource of 3.3Mlb U3O8 but past owner Manhattan Corporation's work also intersected RE enrichment in the granitic bedrock underlying the palaeochannels.
MD Jonathan King says Summit has been assessing additional historical drill holes for further rare earth opportunities while validating the developing targeting model at Stallion.
