Explorer Tesoro Gold has lifted the gold resource by 17% to 1.28Moz (33.7Mt @ 1.18g/t) and established an initial exploration target of 1.6-3Moz (48.5-101Mt @ 0.91-1.45g/t) for the Ternera deposit at its El Zorro project in Chile.
Australian-based Tesoro says the indicated classification has grown from 46% to 63%.
MD Zeff Reeves says the meaningful improvement in size and classification, from a modest amount of drilling, demonstrates Ternera’s exciting potential.
Tesoro expects to complete Ternera’s phase 1 scoping study in coming weeks.
