Australian-based Tietto Minerals has approved $US2.5M early site works including site access upgrade, camp improvement and purchase long-lead items for its Abujar gold project in Côte d’Ivoire ahead of the grant of the mining licence for the 3.02Moz project that is set to be West Africa’s next gold mine.
With the final leg of the permitting process complete, MD Dr Caigen Wang says Tietto expects to conclude negotiations with the Ivorian government on the terms and conditions for the project’s mining convention in the first half of 2021 and to deliver the results of its PFS in the March qtr.
With $A60M cash in hand, Tietto is well-funded to deliver its dual-track strategy towards developing Abujar.
