VOLT RES: GRAPHEX SIGNS BINDING BUNYU PROJECT OFFTAKE DEAL

 

Dodoma, Mar 17

Graphite developer Volt Resources will push forward with development funding talks for its Bunyu project in Tanzania after signing a binding offtake agreement for 10,000tpa fine natural flake product over an initial 5 years with major spherical graphite producer Graphex Group.
After formalising the Graphex agreement, which can be extended for a further 5 years, CEO Prashant Chintawar says Volt is also progressing discussions on further offtake opportunities.
Graphex president John DeMaio says the Bunyu deal is an important step towards diversifying the flexibility, resiliency and scale of graphite supply for the EV and energy storage sectors.
